This narrow course is highlighted by well-bunkered fairways and fast greens. Water hazards come into play on ten holes. This can be an extremely demanding course for even the most-experienced golfer. The signature hole is #7, a 503-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over a ditch, then an approach to a green which is protected by a lake.

Pinebrook/Ironwood Golf Club is one of the areas finest courses nestled inside a beautiful community in the heart of Bradenton. The greens were renovated in the summer of 2003 with "Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermuda". This putting surface is far superior to the traditional bermuda grass seen on most courses. Sixteen of our fairways are bordered by water with 37 bunkers surrounding the eighteen greens. The amenities include a pro shop, snacks, refreshments, putting green and lessons. After playing a round of golf you can travel a short distance to enjoy a sunset dinner on one of Florida's serene beaches.
